 Our Goals are:
- To increase staffing in nursing homes for better care
- To inform families, caregivers, and consumers about:
» Federal and state regulations regarding standards of care
» Rights of nursing home residents
» Selecting a nursing home
- To compile, abstract, and disseminate other information that will enable families, caregivers, and nursing home personnel to address care issues at the local level
- To promote educational opportunities for nursing home personnel and families of residents
- To collaborate with other advocacy groups and health care providers to further common goals related to quality care for residents
